Well, I admit, this title is a bit noisy and P*** clicks!<\/p>\n

On the other hand, I would like to share my vision with you.<\/p>\n

If you have a business via Facebook you may have some things to worry about!<\/p>\n

For what ?<\/h2>\n

Many people were impatiently awaiting the release of this law to attack the web giants.<\/p>\n

It would not be surprising to see thousands of complaints against them in the coming days and weeks.<\/p>\n

It must be said that when it comes to data collection, Google and Facebook are pulling out all the stops \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n

A priori this could represent 4% of their turnover!<\/p>\n

I’ll let you imagine the amount of fines.<\/p>\n

Obviously they are giants equipped with an army of lawyers and they will not let this happen.<\/p>\n

The common problem, the business model<\/h2>\n

On the other hand, the business model of these two giants is based on advertising and that is what will cause the problem.<\/p>\n

To provide advertisers with reliable targeting, they need to collect a lot of data!<\/p>\n

So if the law is applied to the letter, they would have to abandon advertising and switch to paid subscriptions. So it’s not even possible because it’s too late.<\/p>\n

In addition, we know very well that the law will not be applied to the letter on these giants (just on the small ones) but imagine if that happened?<\/p>\n

Should Facebook and Google do without Europe?<\/h2>\n

Not even in dreams !<\/p>\n

There you say to yourself that I am in a paranoid and conspiratorial delirium \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n

Not that much!<\/p>\n

It is indeed possible that they would decide to leave Europe if the law was really applied.<\/p>\n

That would solve the problem quickly…<\/p>\n

Obviously, I don’t really mean what I write but it’s something to think about, as they say.<\/p>\n

And then we know very well that with all the money and the lawyers they have they will be able to drag things out.<\/p>\n

It smells like change<\/h2>\n

Everything I say is fiction, but other things will change, that’s a certainty!<\/p>\n

For example, on GDPR day I noticed a sharp drop in cryptocurrencies! Coincidence?<\/p>\n

The biggest players on Twitter have lost thousands of followers.<\/p>\n

From now on, you must be over 16 to register on Twitter or have parental authorization.<\/p>\n

Brief !<\/p>\n

We clearly feel the wind turning at the moment and a lot of things are going to change.<\/p>\n

You may have noticed that you receive a lot of emails from people who want to be GDPR compliant.<\/p>\n

So everyone updates these T&Cs and their privacy policies.<\/p>\n

A turning point in the web?<\/h2>\n

I actually think so.<\/p>\n

And who says change says new opportunities!<\/p>\n

In fact, personally I love change.<\/p>\n

It must be said that in recent years it was a bit of a underwear party on the web where you could do anything and especially anything.<\/p>\n

This big kick in the anthill will certainly allow things to be done more cleanly.<\/p>\n

For the smartest and those who know how to take the turn and adapt, there will be opportunities galore!<\/p>\n
