WP Rocket, the premium caching plugin for WordPress, has reached another milestone: it is now installed on over a million websites worldwide.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of February, WP Rocket, the premium cache plugin for WordPress founded in France in 2014, celebrated a new milestone.<\/p>\n

More than a million websites now use its caching and web performance optimization system.<\/p>\n

This is a great success for WP Media<\/a>, the company behind WP Rocket, which began this journey six years ago as a startup.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Buttigieg<\/a> And Jean-Baptiste Marchand-Arvier<\/a>, the founders of WP Rocket, worked together for a web agency, and they were both interested in web performance techniques.
\nThe key moment that kicked off the adventure was the success of the web performance tutorial they created together for Jonathan’s blog. The success of this tutorial made the two friends realize that they had the opportunity to work together on something bigger.
\nThey began to develop a WordPress plugin that would enable web performance best practices, with a particular emphasis on page caching: this was in 2014.<\/p>\n

Since then, the plugin WP Rocket<\/a> evolved into something bigger.<\/p>\n

Over the years, it has changed the WordPress caching plugin ecosystem.<\/p>\n

With a focus on performance, ease of use and quality support, the plugin has received great recognition from WordPress experts.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the excellent work done to make the plugin compatible with the most popular hosting solutions (like O2switch<\/a> for example), has allowed WP Rocket to expand to a growing number of users.
